How it all started
His winery is relatively young still. The first wine was vintage 2000 – a great year for wine. Claus Preisinger’s vineyards are spread all over the ‚Pannobile country’. His 19 hectares are scattered in an area of 18 kilometers around the winery and split into 64 plots from 7 ares to 2 hectares.

Claus works with reference to following principles:

  • In the cellar puristic, fanatic for quality and with gut feeling
  • In life - uncomplicated
The relationship with nature is at the heart of the winery. This means: green cover, humus formation with compost preparation based on cow and horse dung, homeopathic plant care, working according to Rudolf Steiner. Whoever doesn’t believe in this method is invited to taste the wines – and disagree, if necessary.


Claus Preisinger takes, whatever the grapes bring, and fills it in a totally pure, low tech, intuitive and natural form into the bottle.
  • White wines: Heideboden weiss, Edelgraben
  • Red wines: Basic, Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Heideboden Rot, Pannobile, Paradigma, Pinot Noir, Buehl
